ADA Claim Specialist Location: Virtual, but must be commutable to Oriskany, NY Employees are to report to the office once a month after training Training: IN-PERSON TRAINING for 3-12 weeks. 8:00AM-4:30PM M-F Key Responsibilities: Virtual roles work from a home office with periodic visits to the assigned GCSO office as needed for team events, meetings, training, business continuity, etc. Handle, review, and administer Family & Medical Leave Act standalone/ADA (as well as other leave) claims and adhere to federal and state regulatory and/or company plan requirements and established FMLA workflow procedures and evaluate against appropriate leave plans and make initial claim decisions. Complete eligibility decisions during intake call, gather pertinent data when necessary, from employee or other supporting systems as well as perform leave follow-ups as required, including recertification of health condition, intermittent claim tracking, RTW confirmation, etc. Update systems to accurately reflect leave status and ensure appropriate diary documentation exists.
