Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare detailed 3D models and technical drawings in Revit for HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, and Process Piping systems
• Create, update, and manage BIM models to ensure coordination across mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural disciplines
• Perform clash detection using Revit and resolve design conflicts in collaboration with project stakeholders
• Interpret engineering sketches, blueprints, and specifications to create accurate design layouts
• Revise designs based on client feedback, changes, and field conditions
• Conduct field visits to gather measurements and verify existing conditions
• Maintain drawing files, BIM models, and documentation according to company standards
• Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and best practices
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to incorporate equipment specifications into designs
• Support fabrication and installation teams by providing clear drawings

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in designing HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, or Process Piping systems for commercial projects
• Strong knowledge of BIM processes and workflows
• Understanding of building codes, mechanical systems, and construction practices
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field
