The CDL Driver is responsible for performing the duties associated with transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and the client’s sites. In addition to transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste, drivers may also operate a variety of equipment including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and flat beds. Position Responsibilities include operating equipment safely following DOT regulations and company policies, driving commercial vehicles to pick up and transport waste safely while meeting scheduled appointments, ensuring placarding of the vehicle meets DOT regulations, maintaining paperwork including expense reports, timesheets, vehicle inspection reports, manifests, and job sheets, inspecting truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water, securing cargo prior to and during transit, and completing additional assigned duties. Position Requirements include a High School Diploma (preferred), valid driver’s license and Class A CDL license, Hazmat Endorsement, and Tanker Endorsement. Physical demands include ability to walk, stand, sit, climb, lift/carry 50lbs, work from heights and in confined spaces, qualify to wear a full-face respirator, and consistently work in various weather conditions.
