Summary

CTC Group is seeking  Data Scientists , levels 1-6, for a contingent program to focus on extracting knowledge and insights from both structured and unstructured data in various forms.
Locations: Annapolis Junction / Ft. Meade

Responsibilities

• Develop or apply best practices to discover and assess semantic and syntactic information contained in data structures and data objects supporting all aspects of the NSA mission.
• Develop measures of syntactic and semantic interoperability that support governing bodies making architectural and implementation decisions.
• Prototype and consider several algorithms and decide upon final model based on established outcomes.
• Generate reports that summarize analysis of data representations and data to provide data-driven insights to customers.
• Partner with subject matter experts to translate manual data analysis into automated analytics.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance

Level 1 Qualifications

• One (1) year experience in Mathematics/Statistics; Computer Science; and analysis of data syntax and semantics.
• OR : A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline.

Level 2 Qualifications

• Four (4) years experience in Mathematics/Statistics; Computer Science; and analysis of data syntax and semantics.
• OR : A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline plus three (3) years of experience.
• OR : A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline.

Level 3 Qualifications

• Seven (7) years experience in Mathematics/Statistics; Computer Science; and analysis of data syntax and semantics.
• OR : A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline plus six (6) years of experience.
• OR : A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline plus three (3) years of experience.
• OR : A PhD from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline.

Level 4 Qualifications

• Ten (10) years experience in Mathematics/Statistics; Computer Science; and analysis of data syntax and semantics.
• OR : A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline plus nine (9) years of experience.
• OR : A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline plus six (6) years of experience.
• OR : A PhD from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline plus three (3) years of experience.

Level 5 Qualifications

• Thirteen (13) years experience in Mathematics/Statistics; Computer Science; and analysis of data syntax and semantics.
• OR : A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline plus twelve (12) years of experience.
• OR : A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline plus nine (9) years of experience.
• OR : A PhD from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline plus six (6) years of experience.

Level 6 Qualifications

• Sixteen (16) years experience in Mathematics/Statistics; Computer Science; and analysis of data syntax and semantics.
• OR : A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline plus fifteen (15) years of experience.
• OR : A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline plus twelve (12) years of experience.
• OR : A PhD from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline plus eleven (11) years of experience.

Pay Information
The final salary may be influenced by various factors, such as location, labor categories, experience, education, and/or certifications. CTC also provides a variety of benefits as well as opportunities for continuous education and development. 
The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $230,000.
