Job Title: Electrical Estimator

Location: North of Nashville

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: based on experience, with potential performance bonus

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely electrical estimates for conveyor and material handling projects.
• Analyze project documents, specifications, and drawings to determine scope of work and requirements.
• Utilize EBM estimating software to generate detailed estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
• Evaluate costs of materials, labor, and equipment to determine project expenses.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Review and analyze historical data to improve estimating accuracy.
• Participate in bid meetings and presentations as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator.
• Proficiency with EBM estimating software is required.
• Experience in the conveyor or material handling industry is a plus.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Estimation or related field preferred.
