Freelance Event Planner – Make Work Feel Like a Party!

We're seeking a freelance event planner to help us organize 3–6 memorable company events per year. From summer outings and holiday parties to team-building events, you'll be the creative force behind the moments our employees look forward to.

What You’ll Do:

• Plan and execute company events within a defined budget
• Propose venues, themes, vendors, activities, and catering
• Coordinate logistics, contracts, and timelines
• Serve as the point-person on event day to ensure everything runs smoothly
• Collaborate with internal leadership to align events with company goals and culture

What You Bring:
You’re an experienced event planner with a passion for creating memorable experiences . Whether it’s a company cookout , a holiday party , or a team-building retreat , you know how to take an idea and bring it to life— on time and on budget . You’ve built strong relationships with vendors and venues across Connecticut, and you’re confident negotiating contracts , managing logistics , and keeping things organized from start to finish. With a sharp eye for detail , strong communication skills , and a friendly, can-do attitude , you’re the kind of person people trust to make things run smoothly—and actually enjoy the process along the way.
