Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Remote Freight Broker to connect shippers with carriers, negotiate competitive rates, and manage the full lifecycle of shipments. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers.
• Source capacity for available loads using load boards and carrier networks.
• Negotiate rates to maximize profitability while providing value to customers.
• Manage the full freight brokerage process: quoting, booking, tracking, problem resolution, and closing.
• Maintain accurate shipment records in TMS and CRM platforms.

• Collaborate with dispatch, operations, and customer support teams to ensure service excellence.

  Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience as a freight broker, carrier sales representative, or logistics coordinator.
• Strong understanding of transportation modes (FTL, LTL, intermodal, reefer, flatbed).
• Proficiency in using load boards such as DAT and Truckstop.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Book of business (preferred but not required for entry-level candidates).
