We're seeking an experienced Front Desk Manager to oversee reception operations at our new healthcare facility, set to open in August 2025. This role requires strong medical office knowledge, exceptional patient service skills, and a demonstrated ability to lead in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee patient registration, insurance verification and authorizations
  • Train and supervise front desk staff on proper procedures
  • Ensure accurate collection of patient demographics and financial information
  • Manage upfront collections of copayments, deductibles, and self-pay accounts
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
  • Conduct quality assurance audits and performance improvement activities
  • Schedule staff appropriately to maintain efficient front desk coverage
  • Collaborate with clinical departments to resolve registration issues

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years working with insurance verification and benefits (preferred)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of CMS and Medicaid programs
  • Experience with HIPAA compliance and medical records management
  • Previous hospital or medical office management experience
  • Proficient in medical terminology and healthcare workflows
  • Verifiable leadership experience in a customer-facing role
