Position Title: Marketing Manager

Reports to: President & Chief Commercial Officer

Classification: Exempt

Position Description

As the Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager – you are a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers. You are the leader of Easy Way’s reputation across digital and social networks while also leading our pay-per-click marketing efforts (and those of our internal and licensed brands). In addition to developing an ongoing content calendar and creating unique content, you will lead the advertising strategy on social networks with the ultimate goal of turning fans into customers and creating conversations. You stay up to date on social media best practices and understand the dynamic nature of the platforms and space.

The ideal candidate will understand the personality of Easy Way (and our private and national brands) and can creatively bring it to life while monitoring performance and KPI’s to then optimize and drive performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance the existing Easy Way social media strategy and associated KPI’s; manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities.
  • Develop relevant content topics and strategies to reach target customers.
  • Conceptualize and create all published content and social advertising.
  • Analyze key metrics, compile reports, and adjust strategy as needed to meet company objectives.
  • Lead Easy Way’s Pay-Per-Click marketing and associated vendors.
  • Become an advocate for Easy Way in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate in a “social way”.
  • Learn and develop expertise with customer reviews and trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
  • Suggest and implement new programs to develop brand awareness and engagement.
  • Be involved in the design and logistics of the tradeshow exhibits, working with Product Development. Working with outside third-party services where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and enhance product descriptions and rich media assets for eCommerce product detail pages.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • 3-5+ years demonstrated experience in brand strategy/campaign management, sourcing and managing content development, account/client management with a proven ability to drive organizational alignment, influence stakeholders and authentically represent Easy Way (and related brands) to potential customers.
  • Experience in the product development process, developing brand vision, positioning, budget/forecasting, portfolio architecture and growth strategy creation; storytelling and presenting in a way that is inspiring, clear, and persuasive.
  • Working knowledge of SEO principals and experience leveraging popular methodologies used for solving ambiguous innovation and creative business challenges.
  • Understanding of many common qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and analyzing market share and competitive data.
  • Expertise in creating posts, reels, videos, and other content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Proficient in Adobe product suite (specifically Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop), or proficient in another marketing software.

Travel

Some travel (minimal overnight travel) is expected for this position for Trade Shows etc.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some kneeling, bending and standing is required as necessary.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

The standard workweek is forty (40) hours. Workday lengths for exempt associates are determined primarily by the hours required to accomplish their current workloads. General business hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. As starting and ending times vary within departments and office locations, the manager of each department will determine the schedule for his or her department.
