This Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse position requires a minimum of two years of experience in a Level III NICU setting within a high-volume delivery hospital. The RN will provide skilled nursing care to neonates requiring intensive care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Providing direct patient care to neonates in a Level III NICU.
- Monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing treatments as ordered.
- Assessing patient status, documenting findings, and communicating changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborating with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participating in interdisciplinary rounds and care planning.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a Level III NICU.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems (Cerner experience preferred).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with a variety of neonatal medical equipment and procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of neonatal physiology and pathophysiology.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Special Considerations:
- Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), with varying days over a 13-week period.
- Work in a fast-paced, high-volume Level III NICU environment.
