Overview:

It develops, produces, and markets engines and equipment for air and space, defense electronics, and security solutions.

Position: Stock Clerk I


Duration: 6+ Months


Location: Carson, CA 90746

Shift Timings: 1st shift - 6:30 A.M - 2:00 P.M

Job Description:

• Shipping requires someone who is skilled with computer systems (ERP, CRM, Excel, etc).
• They will be using the computer to view/track orders.
• They will also be printing labels and packing boxes.
• This role typically has multiple days of overtime.

Job Summary:

• Data entry experience, computer savvy, attention to detail, multitask, email, fast pace environment, constant change in priorities, shipping items
• Performs various types of product packing and shipping in accordance with established procedures and/or commercial standards; receives and stocks incoming equipment, materials, and supplies and prepares shipments.

Duties:

• Processes all in-and outbound shipments including but not limited to sorting, logging, delivering, packing, and shipping
• Audits each shipment prior to packing to ensure that goods match order
• Packs and labels product based on established standards
• Ensures that proper equipment, documents, and accessories are shipped with correct order
• Prepares shipping and receiving documentation; maintains orderly files for all documentation
• Participates in scheduling of daily transportation
• Processes all receiving transactions and paperwork
• Inspects all incoming freight for damage
• Follows-up with purchasing to resolve any damaged freight issues
• Operates forklift and pallet jack
• Assists in responses to requests for tracing of missing shipments
• Assists in maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in shipping area
• Performs required administrative tasks; prepares required reports and correspondence
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

Experience:

• 0-2 years
• Entry-level job with little or no prior relevant experience
• Work is prescribed and completed with close supervision and little autonomy
• Duties are clearly defined and methods and tasks are described in detail

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent with demonstrated skills.

Computer Skills:

• Familiar with Windows Operating System® and with a MRP systems is strongly desired.
