Job Description

We currently have an opportunity as a Work Ready Success Coach. The Success Coach is involved in supporting students in JEVS Work Ready vocational training programs by acting as their main point of contact and building supportive relationships

This role, located in our office in Center City Philadelphia, offers flexibility and a hybrid environment. This position is full-time, 35 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supports students enrolled in JEVS Work Ready vocational training programs with a primary and reliable point of contact; developing a relationship with each individual that meets their needs in terms of support, encouragement, and accountability.

  • Coordinate with team to design workshops, activities, challenges, and events for students as they relate to academic progression. 

  • Input vocational training activity attendance data into data systems in timely and accurate manner; track attendance data and respond accordingly to participants needing extra support to remain in good standing.

  • In conjunction with placement counselors and clinical staff, addresses any barriers to employment to provide direct support and strategies to ensure retention of gainful employment. 

  • Provide excellent customer service for students.

  • Use assessment results to develop individual service strategy plan including education, employment, and empowerment goals and interventions designed to achieve funder established benchmarks. 

     

     

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, social work, or related field required. 
  • 3+ years experience working with individuals related to personal and professional goal setting and counseling.

The base pay for this position ranges from $43,000 to $51,000 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
