CWA Accounting, LLC, a multi-location, full-service accounting firm headquartered in Darien, IL, specializes in corporate and individual tax and accounting. We are currently seeking a seasoned tax professional with 3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience to lead tax and accounting engagements for a diverse roster of small to medium-sized business and individual clients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare business and individual income tax returns
• Lead engagements throughout all phases of tax and accounting including research, projections and planning, bookkeeping and payroll services
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for firm business clients.
• Instruct, guide and support the office staff
• Develop and cultivate professional client relationships to assist in their needs and promote the business
• Address client and staff issues and concerns in a prompt and professional manner.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience preparing business and individual tax returns
• Bachelors degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• QuickBooks software proficiency required; ProSeries tax software proficiency is a plus
• CPA or EA designation preferred
• Availability to travel to our DeKalb, IL office 1-4 times/month
• Competitive salary of $60,000-$70,000/year plus opportunity for profit share, commissions and bonus
